Synchronized bids

ADESA, Alphabet and LeasePlan have further integrated their platforms. All incoming bids on these platforms are now synchronized. This means that your ADESA bids are constantly being compared to bids from these platformsfrom Alphabeth and LeasePlan. In other words, when you have the highest bid on our ADESA platform, you have the highest bid on all platforms! Remember, if you place bids from the “My Bids” dashboard, you don’t need to refresh the page manually, all information (bids and prices) is updated automatically.

Extended Alphabet auctions

Right after the first run of an Alphabet auction, all vehicles from that auction are auctioned directly again, during the so-called "x-Time" phase. Per car, you have a number of seconds to update your bid. When a bid is placed during those extra seconds, the clock is reset and starts counting down again.

Extended LeasePlan auctions

Right after the first run of a LeasePlan auction, all vehicles in that auction are auctioned directly again during the so-called “x-Time” phase. During this phase, the entire auction is extended as soon as a bid is placed on 1 vehicle. The entire auction remains open as long as bids are being placed.

LeasePlan Spain is an exception. Here, the auction is only extended by 1 minute for vehicles that get a bid in that minute. Vehicles that don’t get a bid, disappear automatically from the auction; Bidding is not possible anymore. Vehicles that do get a bid, remain in auction until no bids are being placed.
