The Volvo V60 is a midsized luxury car. Initially marketed as being a fun, sporty drive, the V60 is probably more in line with the safe and sensible Volvos the world is used to. It will put a smile on the face of anyone from a conservative target group.
Is it comfortable?
The V60 is perfect as a family car and as a company car for business executives. There are also a few admirable innovations and clever designs used in the Volvo V60 that give it a slightly-sporty-but-still-executive feel. The controls are angled towards the driver, making a more user-friendly cockpit and the dashboard is built of materials that give it a classy feel … This too suggests it’s a stereotypical Volvo rather than the sporty image the company originally tried to use to market the V60.
How does it drive?
The Volvo V60 certainly isn’t the sportiest vehicle on the market—or even the sportiest Volvo—but it does have light steering, parks easily and there are no blind spots to make driving unnecessarily difficult. The V60 is still one of the safest vehicles on the road, especially with its six airbags, anti-skidding technology, rear parking sensors and the City Safe system that scans for pedestrians and even stops the vehicle at low speeds.
The space and level of safety make the V60 an appealing vehicle for families and for use as a company car. Where do you look for a used Volvo V60? At ADESA.
