Today, there are two types:
• Notifications in your web browser
• Notifications on your mobile phone
1. Browser notifications
Browser notifications are messages in your browser that appear in the bottom right corner of your screen. These messages will also appear outside of the ADESA environment, when you are not logged in or when you are surfing on other websites.
How do I activate browser notifications?
The browser notifications only work for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. These browsers will offer you the best experience when surfing the ADESA pages.
When logging in to our website, your browser will ask you if you want to allow push notifications. Press “Allow” to activate the notifications. Look at our manuals to see how to activate notifications at any moment for Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
How can I adjust my browser notification settings?
You can choose for which scenarios you want to receive notifications or not. This allows you to focus only on what you think is important. Go to "My account" > Select "Account settings" > "Adjust my notifications settings". Here you can activate or deactivate the desired notifications.
2. Mobile notifications
The second type of notifications are the ones you get on your mobile phone.
