The Corona pandemic brought many challenges, also for Mr Vellecco from Allwetter Cars. The German car dealer works mainly for clients from Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal, Austria and Germany, among others. He listens to their wishes and then sets out to find the perfect car. Since September 2020, he relies on OPENLANE for this.
"We notice a clear difference between the time before we started working together and the time after," Mr Vellecco says proudly. "Our profit figures have gone through the roof and our customer base has increased by about 20 per cent. We're looking forward to the autumn because I'm excited to see what OPENLANE will do for our business once the Corona measures wear off."

As Mr Vellecco imports and exports many cars, he fills out an international transport document (CMR waybill) for each vehicle. Without this document, he cannot take the car across the border. "In the past, the waybill always caused problems. I didn't have all the data and could rarely fill out the document correctly. When I contacted the auction house, I never received a clear answer. Since my cooperation with OPENLANE, the transport runs smoothly. The customer service provides me with all the data and tells me exactly what to write down.
