OPENLANE's transportation service offers you all the tools you need. We help you access the proper documents, pay the appropriate taxes, and receive your vehicle quickly and conveniently.

We offer transport options to a wide range of destinations for most vehicles.

UK Customers
Please let us know if you would like us to arrange delivery when you confirm your purchase. The process is the same for undamaged and damaged vehicles. You can have the vehicle delivered to your address or another address on the UK mainland. Once you have made your request, our customer service team will contact you to indicate the best price and delivery time we can offer you.

Continental European Customers
Please click on the 'Delivery Options' button on the details page of the vehicle you are interested in. You will automatically be shown the shipping options available for your address, including the price and estimated delivery time.
Rates shown on our website are based on physical location, vehicle type and degree of damage.

We offer commercial transportation for regular vehicles (sizes 1–3) and commercial vehicles (sizes 4–5). Please see the  size chart  for a complete overview. If you need to arrange delivery of a damaged vehicle, please contact our  customer service team  and they will arrange a quote for you.

Delivery Logistics

We offer multiple transportation options depending on your location and what suits you.

Prefer to organize your own delivery? For us it's fine. The only cost is a collection fee that covers handling and administration.


Arranging transportation is easy

1. Confirm your purchase and finalize delivery details
Once you have won the auction and the vehicle has been assigned to you, go to "My Account" and confirm the purchase of the vehicle. Customers in continental Europe will be immediately shown the final delivery cost and estimated delivery time.

If your company is located in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Portugal, Croatia, Spain, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia or the Baltic countries, we offer you Optimo, the optimal payment and inspection service . Optimo contains 2 essential services that only have a small additional cost on top of the transportation cost: a subsequent payment and an additional inspection at the HUB.

2. The vehicle is ready The vehicle is ready for collection when:
• it has been paid for by the buyer;
• has been released by the seller;
• has been taken to the HUB (if applicable);
• collection authorization is ready—this is made available in 'My Account' for customers in continental Europe and sent by email to customers in the United Kingdom.


3. Pickup Options
• You can choose to pick up the car at your local HUB , or if available, you can order transportation directly to your office. The address you want your vehicle delivered to must be accessible by truck, preferably located in an industrial area.
• We offer customers the option to personally pick up  vehicles they have purchased from local sellers who have chosen this option. This feature is available only when a seller has enabled buyer pickup and the seller is located in the same country.
