After registering with a valid VAT number and email address on OPENLANE, you can participate in sales. Find out everything you need to know to be able to place bids here . Please remember that every offer is legally binding. It is prohibited to cancel a placed bid.
There are several reasons that may prevent you from placing an offer:
• You are not connected. This may seem obvious, but it happens much more often than you might think.
• For continental European customers, our system checks VAT numbers to ensure they are valid. If it thinks yours is invalid, it automatically blocks you. Contact us to resolve the problem.
• One of your payments is late. Per our terms and conditions , Continental European customers must pay for a vehicle within two business days of confirmation. Our system will send you a reminder after four business days. After six days, your account will be blocked and you will no longer be able to bid. UK customers must pay for their vehicle within one working day of receiving the invoice. We will send you a reminder after five days. If you do not pay after this reminder, we may revoke your access to the Site.
• Customer service has revoked your right to use your account for reasons such as pending final delivery documents, unwanted behavior, canceled cars, unprofessional communication or conduct, etc.
